A link builder should know everything in detail about link building as this would help you in achieving more success in less time. I enjoy being a link builder. Being a greenhorn to this profession, I encountered different weird link building terms that are new to my vocabulary. Here are some of those words that a newbie like me should familiarize.

1. Anchor text optimization:This can really help you to rank well in Google’s search engine & can be done by including relevant keywords in the links pointing to your website. More emohasis should be given on keywords as it will help the Google’s ranking algorithm understand what is your website all about.
2. Backlinks: These are the inbound links to a web page or website. More quality and relevant back links helps in increasing the importance & relevancy of a website.
3. Google Sandbox: This is the term where in Google places the new domains after temporarily reducing their page ranks. It restricts the seo professionals to manipulate the Google’s page ranking.
4. Image Link: This is the hyperlink that appears on an image.
5. Landing Page: This is the page where the visitors arrive at after clicking on a link. It is also known as lead capture page.
6. Link Baiting: It helps to catch visitor’s attention.With the help of this technique, one can bring more visitors by publishing unique and popular content on the web.
7. Link Farming: Building more links artificially refers to link farming. It is the process of exchanging the reciprocal links with other websites.
8. Link Popularity: This term is used to describe the worth of a website in search engines. Websites that have more quality and relevant would enjoy more link popularity.
9. Relevant Links: Links which are of same nature or category as your website are referred to relevant links.
10. No follow: By adding this tag to a link you can restricts spam link builders from bulk link building.
11. One-way links: These links points to a website without any reciprocal links.
12. Page rank: It is an algorithm used by Google for analyzing the links.
13. Reciprocal links: One can use this technique by exchanging links with the other sites. This would help both the sites to increase traffic.
14. Serps: This refers to search engine results page where you land after doing a keyword search in a search engine.

Fishing for Links

Fishing for links is not just an ordinary kind of task. It,may sound so easy but it's not.

It was a great day for link-building when my manager told me about my new task. It was about a site for fishing that we need to link-build. She told me to look for sites that needs to have a good page rank, offer them $25 and request to link from it.

You may say that it's just easy because we're offering money in exchange of a link, but it's not. At first I also thought that it was just a simple task but I was wrong.

I was not able to find any site that will accept my offer. I sent out almost 50 requests and out of 50, I got zero positive reply. I was so pissed off and hopeless.

I continued looking for sites and saw this article about fishing.I read the article and I was extremely lucky to learn this lesson that helped me, not only in my link-building task, but also in becoming a strong person. I've learned to persevere. Just like in fishermen, link-builders also needs to have perseverance in order for them to acquire links.

Fishing for links is not just an ordinary kind of task. It,may sound so easy but it's not.Yes, you may have the skills in link-building but you must have the perseverance or else you'll end up empty.

A Tip from a Hubber

I have friends who have recently expressed interest in Hubbing. They asked me a lot of questions about my experience doing it and as I ponder on it, I decided maybe I could give these folks some tips, though I am far from any kind of expert.

Here are some tips on how to Score High in Hubpages:

The prime purpose of your Hub is to get your message across in an eloquent yet simple way, so that it is easily understood but also keeps the reader's interest to the finish line." I recommend writing your Hub on Microsoft Word first. Do not stop to edit as you go. Just let the words flow until you have written what you want to express. Then be patient.

To edit my words, I prefer to read them out loud. Anything not well said, fix it. I especially try not to repeat myself or use the same word too many times. If you have made a point, there is no need to make it again. If you notice the same verb or noun several times in a paragraph, think of replacement words to use instead for variety. Look for any words you can simply delete without changing your message. The less words the better. While we are on that subject, let's talk about Hub length.

Once you have created the article, look for unique and interesting pictures that will best attract attention of hubbers. With this your hub will gain traffic and will surely increase your score.

Once you have created a great reputation in hub pages, you will surely have lots of fans following your hubs... And by the way, make sure to make the most interesting and informative articles as you can... These will boost you up to the top...

Have you ever been in a situation where you are so pumped up about a certain event then that event suddenly gets cancelled? Man, it really sucks!!!

Let me tell you a story of what happened to me. I have once this girl whom I’m courting. She’s so fine, sexy, pretty and intelligent. We have been texting each other for about 3 months already. We have been exchanging MMS pictures of ourselves. Men I’m so deeply in loved with that girl and she told me she feels the same way too.

One day we decided to set a date. We decided to set a date after she’s finished with her midterm exam. I set every thing for our date. I have already reserved a venue for our date. The foods, the songs to be played… men everything is planned. I said to my self that this will be the greatest moment of your entire life.

I was so pumped up and was so excited about our date. I can’t even sleep at night thinking of the right gestures and right words that I’m gonna say to her.

So here it is, the day of my dream date. I was so excited during that day. I have my hair trimmed, I bought a very good looking and expensive shirt just for this date and I even brushed my teeth more than 10x just to make sure nothing’s on my teeth when I smile at her.
I went to the venue 1 ½ hour earlier before our date just to check and make sure that everything’s in plan. 30 minutes before our date when I received a text message from her. I was so excited opening up the message knowing that it was her. Suddenly, my heart breaks. The message says: “I’m really sorry I can’t be able to come. We have a seminar in our school”. Man, feels like I was drowned in a tar pit. I was so pissed that I promised to my self not to ever set a dream date again.

Since that day, I’ve changed. I’m still dating women but they are now the one who are setting the date and I always come late. ^_^

Inside a Link Builder's mind

Linkbuilding is the holy grail for the newbie internet marketer.It refers to the number of links pointing TO your site FROM other sites on the Web. Building links is one of the most important factors in getting top placements on the major search engines There are so many ways to do it and so few ways to do it right. It's quite easy if you're used to it but it's also very tricky. If you dont know how to do it well it will surely waste your time.



Im a newbie in link building world but I seem to enjoy what i am doing. Looking for qualified sites, making some comments and submissions of articles and a lot more. These are some of the things we do during our link building training. Of course, we have our goal and that is to be number 1 in every SERPS ranking.

Cooking Oil

Every time I see a cooking oil ,I remember my teacher way back when I was still in the first grade. She is a very strict and grumpy kind of teacher. She always gives punishments to her pupils who are not following her instructions. That's the reason we named her "MALDS".

One time during our mass feeding activity in school I was instructed by "MALDS" to buy a bottle of cooking from the market. She gave me money just enough to fill the bottle of cooking oil. So without further question I went to store and buy me a bottle of cooking oil.

On my way back. I saw a kid playing with his new remote control car. Amazed by his toy, I keep on walking without looking on the road. I accidentally trip my self and spoil the bottle of oil. Afraid to be punished by "MALDS", I quickly thought of something to replace the oil but unfortunately I don't have any mmoney that time.

Since my pee's color looks like cooking oil what I did.... I opened my zipper and peed in the bottle... heheh clever isn't it? I went back to "MALDS" and gave her the bottle of pee. Without noticing it she used it to cook the food. Until now she realy don't have any idea of what I did...of course I didn't eat that food. ^^,

The greatest sport ever!

Most of us wonder and quarrel this question..."What is the Greatest Sport Ever?". Some say Basketball, other say Soccer etc.. Well my answer is "KISSING". Yes, kissing is the oldest and the most versatile sport ever created. Here are the reasons to prove this.
Let me give you some history about kissing. Kissing was invented during the time of ADAM and EVE. It all started when they disobey God and eat the fruit of wisdom. They begun feeling things which they never felt before and the rest is history. (thanks to the serpent) =)

Kissing is the most versatile sport around. There are so many types of kisses to choose from – at least one for just about any occasion. There is the quick peck , the smack, the elegant kiss and the wildly passionate kiss.Kissing is easy to transport. It really doesn't matter where you are. You can kiss: at the gym, in the boardroom, in the space shuttle, even in the streets.

Kissing requires so little equipment, which means you can do it any-time, anywhere , prepared or unprepared.

Kissing always livens things up. Try this: the next time you are in an oh-so-booooring situation that seems to last oh-so-foreeeeever, why not just kiss somebody. Go ahead; try it and see how it livens things up?
